What should you know about our Belgian Light Rail Sleepers?
General info
The 62R2 is the pre-stressed monobloc tram sleeper made of classic cement concrete in accordance with European standards EN13230- 1 and 2 and the technical specification of the Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company (STIB/MIVB).
The sleeper can be used for the Light Rail network such as (speed)tram and (pre)metro.
Variants
Available in 3 variants:
- 50E2 Ballast
This is the standard sleeper for rail 50E2 that is placed directly into the ballast. - 62R2 Concrete
This is a standard sleeper for creating tram tracks, where the sleeper with the rail is poured into the concrete. - Concrete + vibration and noise reduction
Same as above variant but here the rubber shoe contains an additional mat that absorbs vibrations. There are different options in static stiffness of this mat.
