What should you know about our Crossing slabs Type Harmelen?
General info
De Bonte Group offers type HARMELEN slabs for the construction of level crossings. Monolithic track slabs type HARMELEN consist of fully finished reinforced concrete track slabs that contain the entire track. After accurate placement and adjustment on site, the rails are cast on site with an elastic covering. These slabs replace the standard complex construction of railway crossings in combination with ballast.
Thanks to the considerable weight in combination with specialised adjustment and casting of the rails, you obtain a solution that easily withstands heavy crossing traffic and offers you a maintenance-free level crossing solution!
Advantages
- Monolithic unit composed of a single concrete type, therefore extremely favourable for the stability of the level crossing.
- Features a top surface with increased skid resistance.
- Plate rests on the surface at the ends by means of 2 grout beds (elastomer).
- For a wide level crossing, several elements are placed subsequently and for a curved section the elements are specially designed.
- The attachment of the rails to the slab can be done via an elastomeric casting surround.
- Also available in light version.
- Quick installation within 24 hours and maintenance-free!
