ROAD GULLY TYPE A/I INFILTRATION 1+

Keeping and infiltrating rainwater locally has become a necessity. This infiltration chamber is part of a climate-robust road construction allowing for direct infiltration of rainwater into the soil for all roads up to construction class 7 (these are local roads where a lot of traffic and heavy traffic is allowed).

Beneath the road, everything is cleverly constructed to maximise water infiltration into the soil.

Keeping rainwater on site and infiltrating into the soil is a good measure to avoid water nuisance and soil dehydration! You will find more information by Aquafin here.

• This infiltration chamber, designed by Aquafin, is sufficiently spacious to pre-filter the first run-off and collected water for silt and heavy metals thanks to the settling volume provided
• The chamber can be cleaned in the traditional way via the access openings at the top (can be fitted with cast-iron gully grid in situ)
• The chamber is fitted with built-in porous clinkers to allow for infiltration
• It is also used in combination with infiltration gutters
• The chamber meets strength class 300 kN, a buffer volume of 270 L and an infiltration surface : 0.80 m²
• The chamber has a draining capacity of: 750 l/h
• Comes with a standard PVC Ø160 mm connection
