Discover the DELTA-U/-T/-O range of self-supporting drainage channels. Smart, multifunctional drainage channels usable for both drainage and utilities. All drainage channels adhere to current standards without impacting the price.

De Bonte Group maintains a large stock and produces DELTA-U/-T/-O drainage channels regionally. This ensures fast availability and sustainable placement.

Why choose the DELTA-U/-T/-O range?

Quality and Sound

All channels are of the self-supporting type ‘I’ according to standard EN-1433 (for all load classes A15 to F900). As a result, they are both robust and sound. Furthermore, they do not require lateral reinforcement when installed.

Safety

Bicycle safety was central to the design. The gutters can therefore be crossed without any problems. It is also possible to protect the edges with firmly anchored galvanised protection profiles. All channels can be installed safely and smoothly via CE-approved lifting devices.

Smart Design

The shape of our gutters is optimised to maximise material efficiency. The elements are cleverly designed to save concrete, with no impact on durability. The DELTA-O range also features a cast seal that no longer requires caulking on site.

Complete range

De Bonte Group offers a full range of gutters, complemented by modular project solutions. Similarly, we produce covers for every possible application, optimised thanks to a variety of materials used: concrete, cast iron, steel, wood and plastic.

Competitive pricing

Our gutters are constantly in production and therefore always in stock. This allows us to always offer the range at the best price.

Basic range from stock

Stock quantities are constantly monitored, so that an extensive basic range is available from stock. Thanks to our solid distribution network, via distributors, these gutters are also available in the Netherlands and northern France.

Frequently asked questions

• What dimensions are possible?
  • DELTA-O standard range: diameter 160, 200, 200/300, 300 and 400mm. Larger diameters are possible on request
  • DELTA-U/-T standard range: internal width 300, 400, 500 and 600mm, internal height from 250 to 700mm
  • DELTA-U/-T modular range: internal width from 500 to 2500mm, internal height from 500 to 2000mm
• What types of covers (materials, design, ...) are possible for DELTA-U/-T?

Following covers are possible:

  • Cast-iron grids
  • Concrete covers, with or without slots
  • Steel covers
  • Plastic covers
  • Multiplex covers
• Is edge protection possible?
  • DELTA-U/-T: some types are fitted with steel edges as standard. Concrete covers can also be fitted with galvanised steel edge profiles.
  • DELTA-O: both slots and edges can be fitted with a galvanised steel profile.
• Can the gutter joints be made watertight?
  • DELTA-U/-T: the gutters can be made watertight with a sealant. The necessary instructions and materials are available.
  • DELTA-O: the concealed gutters are always fitted with a rubber pressure seal and can always be interconnected in a watertight manner.
• Are there solutions for bends and corners?
  • DELTA-U: specified solutions are available in a technical data sheet.
  • DELTA-T: special types are available to realise corner connections and a 90° T-connection.
  • DELTA-O: for diameters 300 and 400mm, angles of 2.5°, 7.5°, 15° and 30° are available. For other diameters, specified solutions are available in a technical data sheet.
• What are the options for infiltration gutters?

The gutters can be fitted with infiltration openings or embedded porous clinkers. The openings and clinkers are basically designed so that the gutter is not the limiting factor for infiltration. The amount of water that can be infiltrated will therefore always be determined by the permeability of the soil in which the channel is placed. In other words, the gutter will always have a higher permeability than the encompassing soil.

• Is it necessary to install geotextile?

Installation of geotextile is only necessary for gutters with infiltration openings. This is not necessary for gutters with porous clinkers.

• Are there solutions to make DELTA-O gutters accessible for maintenance?

DELTA-O concealed gutters can be fitted with an inspection grid to enable maintenance.

• Can connections to the gutters be provided?

The gutters can be fitted with openings in the side or bottom to connect a PVC pipe, for example.

• Which sand trap element should I choose?

A sand trap element serves to separate solid particles. Depending on the size of the particles you want to separate or the expected quantity of particles, you should choose a standard sand trap element or one of the various types of sludge traps.

• Can gutters be cut to length on site?

The gutters can be cut on site. If rebar is cut, this surface should be treated with a passivation layer. Instructions for this are available.

• How is the strength class determined?

The strength class is determined with an excess-load test as per EN-1433.

• What foundation should I provide?

The foundation should be determined by the supervising engineering office according to the stability of the subsoil and the expected loads.

• Why is an adjustment layer needed?

An adjustment layer is always needed to compensate for unevenness in the foundation and the underside of the gutters. The adjustment layer ensures that the gutters are supported over their entire surface and can achieve their maximum load-bearing capacity.

• Why place the gutter lower than the drainage area?

To achieve complete drainage, it makes sense for the gutter to sit a little lower than the drainage area, otherwise there will always be puddles next to the gutter. Additionally, this is also important to avoid impact loads on the gutter and minimise horizontal forces.

• How were the gutters made bicycle safe?
  • DELTA-U: Only the cast-iron gratings are sized to allow bicycles to be safely ridden over them in both directions according to standard EN-1433.
  • DELTA-O: The slots are dimensioned so that bicycles can be safely driven over them in both directions according to standard EN-1433.
• Can lifting materials be supplied with the gutters?

For all types, the appropriate CE-approved lifting spanners can be supplied with the gutters.

• How are the gutters packed?
  • DELTA-U/-T: the gutters and covers are packed on Euro-pallets.
  • DELTA-O: the gutters are individually loaded onto the truck.
• Where can I find specification texts and/or installation instructions?

The specification texts and installation instructions are available on the website delta-drainworld.com

For all your buffer volumes large or small

The company Nelles Frères used prefabricated concrete rectangular culverts to create a buffer reservoir. De Bonte produced culverts with an internal width of 350 cm and an internal height of 250 cm both start and end culverts with the necessary connections for the sewerage system, were realised. The overideable buffer reservoir was also provided with the necessary inspection openings. Want to know more about our rectangular culverts?

De Bonte inhibits impelling water

De Bonte supplied a number of reservoir walls in Maarkedal in The Fort street and the Ten Houte street. The walls with V-shaped openings should prevent water being drained too quickly to lower areas. By placing these walls, water flooding is avoided. Moreover, in this way, the water will have enough time to seep into the soil. Sewerage.  Datum: 5 april 2019
